Vespa Largeframe Front Shock Removal and Replacement Part 2

Remove the nut from the hub-side of the bottom of the dampener. Then loosen the bolt at the top of the dampener. If these nuts and bolts look rusted, or are difficult to turn, spray them with some penetrating oil and let them sit for 10 minutes before you give it another try.

The yellow arrows point to the location of the bottom and top securing bolts of the front dampener. (note: in this photo the bottom nut has already been removed)
