End of Summer Update

My 90SS just before I pulled it apart for restoration

Well, it has been a bit of a crazy summer, and I just have not found the time to blog much. I guess that is a good thing, since I have been out doing things, instead of sitting in front of my computer! I've done some fun scooter trips, but mostly have been busy with family stuff.

Most importantly for my scooters, I had some forward momentum on my long-stalled 90SS project. I hauled it out of storage, and took the scooter apart for paint. I then sent it down to Eric at 2nd Ave Scoots in Phoenix to begin the painting process. That's a big deal, as the scooter has been languishing in my storage for close to 20 years at this point. Time to get it done!

I have also decided to slim down my scooter collection. I have too much stuff just sitting around. I figure, if I have not ridden the scooter in 10 years, it is time for it to move on to someone who will. So, I'll be selling my GS 150, my German-made Augsburg T/4, a Lambretta D150, and my Lambretta 150 Special... who knows, maybe I'll sell more stuff once I get going!
